i do not believe in a specific god or gods. i do believe in some higher power. i do not believe it controls our lives. i do believe our mortal existance ceases when we die. i do not know what, if anything, comes after for your spiritual existance. but no, no one ceases to exist completely after dying. no one just fades away. because they leave people behind who love them. and those people keep memories and feelings and substance alive. life does not end when someone dies. life continues, moves on. i cannot say what happens to what is inside a person when they die, for i do not know. i cannot know. no one can know. but they still live. they still live.

have we truly lost all that? have we lost our rage? our pursuit of some rational statement in life? again and again I strive to continue to seek, to strive forward using the strengths given to me. Adding color in the lines defined oh so many years ago, changing and melding hopes into new, into stronger.

but you do not have to stay behind, you too can dream my friend, you too can hope. shrug off the binds of the past, of the unbridled youth and accept the reigns of your own maturity, of the ability to have your life. yes, you too can dream and hope.
